Thousands of chickens found themselves on the side of the A13 motorway near Saint-Mards-de-Blacarville (Eure), this Wednesday March 6.

After the accident, part of the load fled.
Faced with the danger posed by battery animals to users, the Eure prefecture closed the A13 and set up a diversion at the Beuzeville interchange 28 in the Caen-Paris direction.
A tow truck came to lift the truck and the loose animals were caught.
The prefecture announced on its networks the resumption of traffic around 4:30 p.m.
“The poultry were put back in a heavy goods vehicle,”
she added.
Not all the animals survived.
