According to several testimonies, an armed individual was seen on the public highway.
Around 3 p.m., a taxi alerted the police claiming to have dropped off two individuals at the Passy station, one of whom was allegedly carrying a long gun, a police source told Le
Figaro
.
Patrols were immediately dispatched to the site, particularly around a building in which the home of former Prime Minister Édouard Balladur is located.

A confusing situation
At the same time, the students of Saint-Louis de Gonzague high school, called “Franklin”, were confined.
In the surrounding area, several establishments open to the public, the L'Amourette bar, Le Marcello and Le Franklin were confined, as was the pharmacy on rue Marietta Alboni, which was closed.
Likewise, several streets were blocked by the police, notably that of Passy.
