Three sailors are missing, and four others were seriously injured in an attack on a ship off the coast of Yemen.
The Greek-owned ship True Confidence was apparently hit by a missile launched by the Houthis.
It is the first time an attack by the Iran-backed rebels has resulted in casualties since they began launching missiles and drones at vessels in the Gulf and Red Sea in November.
The Houthis, undeterred by the air campaign conducted by the United States and Britain against them since the beginning of the year, promise to continue their attacks until the war in Gaza is stopped.
They also launched missiles and UAVs at Israel in recent months, which were intercepted by the IDF's air defense systems and Western warships.
Today's incident comes after the British cargo ship "Robimmer" sank over the weekend, which was hit by missiles last month.
It was the first ship that the Houthis managed to sink, and its sinking could cause a serious environmental disaster because it was carrying thousands of tons of polluting fertilizers.
