A few days after having experienced the worst moment of their lives, the Spanish couple who were attacked in India gave details of the brutal attack they suffered in Dumka.
Fernanda, the Iberian influencer who was raped, said that
she thought they were killing her and gave heartbreaking details
of that moment.
"We thought they were going to kill us, we were sure.
They told us they were going to kill us
," Fernanda said in statements to the Spanish media Cope.
The woman stated that when they were approached she tried to contact emergencies but knew how to explain where they were.
"When I left the store, I saw someone with a knife and I grabbed the pickaxe. But they grabbed my jacket and started pulling my hair. Even today my hair falls out when I comb my hair," she said.
Fernanda did not avoid giving details of that traumatic moment and explained: "
They took off my clothes, they took turns and they were there for almost three hours.
I lost count... I was asking about Vicente, if he was okay... After this time, one "He gives me clothes and tells me to get dressed. But he turns around and rapes me again."

Fernanda and Vicente, her partner, assured that "they were not a gang of criminals", and described them as "simple people who have no culture", with whom they had crossed hours before.
"They have destroyed their lives and ours. Theirs because now they will never get out of jail and ours because of what they have done to us," remarked the attacked woman.
The couple, who have been traveling for several months to visit Asian countries, had set up a tent near a police station in the Dumka district to spend the night last Friday when around midnight a group of men attacked them.

"We have given a compensation of one million rupees (about $12,000) to the husband. We are conducting a thorough investigation and will try to ensure a speedy trial and conviction," Anjaneyulu Dodde, deputy commissioner of Dumka district, told the media in the northern state of Jharkhand, where the attack occurred.
Then they both left with custody on their motorcycles towards Nepal.
