A tram and a car collided at an intersection on Wednesday (March 6).
The driver (62) was seriously injured.
Munich - A serious accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon (March 6th) at the intersection of Berg-am-Laim-Straße and Riedgaustraße in Munich: a car collided with a tram there at around 1:37 p.m., reports the Munich fire department.
It is still unclear exactly how the incident happened; the police have started investigating the accident.
The driver was seriously injured in an accident between a car and a tram.

At an intersection in Berg am Laim, a car and a tram crashed into each other
On the ford over the tracks, the tram heading into the city hit the driver's side of the Fiat and pushed it around 20 meters in front of it.
The driver of the car was seriously injured: the 62-year-old was seriously injured in the chest area during the impact.
He was able to leave the wreckage of the accident on his own before the emergency services arrived, but was then immediately transported to a Munich clinic by the emergency services.
The fire department secured the scene of the accident, ensured fire protection and cleaned the road.
For these measures, Berg-am-Laim-Straße was briefly closed in both directions.
The car was a total loss.
The police have now taken over the investigation into the exact cause of the accident.
