Florida – Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has met with potential financiers for his election campaign.
According to the
New York Times
, Elon Musk, the multi-billionaire and owner of the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), was one of the participants at last weekend's meeting.

Meanwhile, Trump's prospects for a second term have steadily improved.
On Super Tuesday, the most important day of the primaries, he was able to claim almost all states.
His only competitor, Nikki Haley, has since announced she is withdrawing from the presidential race.
This means that Trump is practically set as the Republican candidate for the presidential election in November.
Current polls by the New York Times and CBS News also show that Trump is well ahead of his rival Joe Biden.
