A woman from Schliersee caused an accident between Hausham and Wörnsmühl on Tuesday evening.
The driver was apparently under the influence of alcohol.
Hausham/Wörnsmühl
– Two slightly injured people and 35,000 euros in damage – that is the result of a car trip under the influence that a woman from Schliersee decided to take on Tuesday, March 5th.
The 46-year-old was coming from Hausham around 6:30 p.m. on the MB8 district road in the direction of Wörnsmühl when she drove her BMW into the oncoming lane in a curve, the police explain.
There she first hit the VW of a 69-year-old from Miesbach and then collided head-on with the Audi of a 36-year-old from Fischbachau.
Two vehicles are no longer drivable
During the course of recording the accident, there were indications that the person who caused the accident was under the influence of alcohol, the Miesbach police said.
As a result, criminal proceedings were initiated on suspicion of endangering road traffic and negligent bodily harm.
A blood sample was also ordered.
Two vehicles were so badly damaged that they were no longer drivable and had to be towed from the scene of the accident.
Officials provisionally estimate the total damage at around 35,000 euros.
