It was a friend of the victim who made the terrible discovery.
A 22-year-old man was found unconscious with a plastic bag over his head, in his car, in the parking lot of the Leclerc shopping center, in Viry-Chatillon, during the night from Monday to Tuesday.
An investigation has been opened.
It was shortly after 1 a.m. that the alert was given by this friend.
The latter, worried about having no more news of the young man, decided to locate him using his telephone data.
It appears that the victim, enrolled at the Évry-Courcouronnes faculty, had not returned to his home in Grigny.
Enough to arouse the concern of those close to him.
The suicide trail
Later in the evening, his friend found the trace of his vehicle.
The 22-year-old student was found lying in the back seat.
A plastic bag covered his face.
Police also found a helium tank and a hose next to the body.
According to initial findings, the death occurred several hours ago.
“On the surface, it appears to be suicide.
But there is no certainty at this stage.
Checks must be carried out,” says a source close to the matter.
An investigation was opened at the Juvisy-sur-Orge police station.
It must make it possible to determine whether or not the death could have been caused by the intervention of a third party.
The technical and scientific police went to the Leclerc center to identify all the clues useful to the investigations.
