Full alarm at 5:21 p.m.: Smoke was reported in a hotel in Wiessee.

In fact, water vapor had triggered a false alarm.

Bad Wiessee

- Smoke was reported from the basement of the Wiesseer Hotel Landhaus am Stein.

The fire department was alerted at 5:21 p.m. on Wednesday.

The teams from Bad Wiessee, Rottach-Egern and Kreuth moved out.

However, as the Wiessee commander Korbinian Herzinger reports, it became apparent on site that steam coming from the swimming pool had triggered a false alarm.

There was nothing for the fire department to do, they moved away.
