With the publication of the conclusions of the commission to investigate the Miron disaster, many politicians and public figures published their response.
The Likud party also published its response today, which for some reason took on a political and accusatory tone: "We are sorry that for the first time in the country's history the government headed by Bennett and Lapid established a commission of inquiry against its predecessor on the political right, and that a key member of the commission is Lapid's associate, Shlomo Yanai, who received a proposal from him to a place on the "Yesh Atid" list for the Knesset. This is a completely clear political defiance"
The Likud's aggressive response drew criticism from wall to wall, some from members of the coalition and MKs from the Likud. Tonight, the journalist Yanon Magal revealed that the Prime Minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, was involved in the drafting. "I hear that Sara was involved in this matter, and that she is too much in the office," Magal said on the panel of the Patriots program on Channel 14. "Even in Netanyahu's team there was opposition to this reaction, I don't like it and think it was a mistake."
