Rust – On September 3, 2023, “Always on Sundays” said goodbye to the screens for the time being with a best-of.
Since then, hit fans have been waiting eagerly for the new episodes.
Stefan Mross (48) will open the new season on June 16th.
Quite late compared to last year.
Now SWR has revealed why fans have to wait so long this time.
Delayed start of “Always on Sundays”: SWR comments
In 2023, “Always on Sundays” started on May 7th.
This year, however, Stefan Mross welcomes his audience to Europapark Rust for the first time on June 16th.
These are all the broadcast dates of “Always on Sundays”.
Mross himself announced last season that he would return on May 26, 2024.
Why has SWR postponed the hit show now?
IPPEN.MEDIA asked those responsible.
The SWR explains the background to the late start of “Always on Sundays” quite simply.
“The timing of the start of the season is for program planning reasons,” the statement says.
Since anticipation is known to be the best joy, Schlager fans will tune in as usual on Sundays at 10 a.m. from June 16th.

Advance ticket sales for the twelve new editions began last November.
Who or what exactly awaits the audience is still unclear.
“As soon as the artist list is finalized, it will be published here,” it says on the ARD website.

The ZDF television garden will soon be entering a new round and will entertain hit fans alongside “Always on Sundays”.
