, Zarrella says: “Shortly before 'Let's Dance' the illness completely freaked out, I took cortisone cream to calm it down.

It went up to his face.

I also talked to my family about it – because when you see it on your face, it’s really bad.”

The red spots and scaly areas can usually be seen on his upper body, arms and legs.

Although the disease is not contagious, he is worried about his appearance.

“Let's Dance” participant Stefano Zarrella speaks openly about his suffering

Since his childhood he has known that stress can change the course of things quickly.

The eczema first appeared at the age of five.

This also greatly influenced his self-confidence and self-love.

Showering with classmates, especially after physical education class, was unpleasant.

"I hated the question, 'What do you have there?' more than anything," he says in a health podcast.

Today he deals with it much more freely and also shows photos of bad phases when his entire upper body is covered with the rash.
