Dog pope Martin Rütter is tough on the Geissens on Instagram because Carmen and Robert were very impressed by a supposedly “singing pug”.

The Geissens are known throughout Germany from their RTLZWEI show, which has been running since 2011.

The glamorous jet set lifestyle is one of the family's absolute trademarks.

However, over the years, voices have repeatedly been raised that have criticized the Geissens' treatment of animals.

This also applies to the well-known dog trainer Martin Rütter, who recently criticized the Geissens on Instagram.

MANNHEIM24 reports:

“Singing Pug” with the Geissens – Martin Rütter explains “torture breeding”.

The TV-famous dog trainer Martin Rütter has over 415,000 followers on his Instagram account.

Last Tuesday, March 5th, he shared an excerpt from one of the current episodes of “The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family,” in which Carmen and Robert Geiss were very impressed by a singing pseudo-pug.

“That’s awesome, isn’t it?” Carmen Geiss enthusiastically commented on the shrill sounds the animal made.

And her millionaire husband also agreed: “The pug can sing.

The pug is an opera singer.” In fact, the dog is not a pug, as Rütter explains in his post.

Iris Klein has also criticized Martin Rütter in the past for her dog training.

Rütter fans criticize the Geissens: “Money doesn’t mean you have brains.”

“Yes, also torture breeding, but not quite a pug,” says Martin Rütter, demonstrating the Geissens quite well.

The “singing pug” is actually a singing bulldog, but both breeds are overbred.

Due to the shortened snout, the dogs often have severe breathing problems, which is why the dog trainer speaks of “torture breeding”.

However, that doesn't stop Carmen Geiss from continuing to cuddle with the cute "pug".

Martin Rütter writes “Just let it sink in…” under the video.

Users find clearer words in the comments: “A pug that is actually a Frenchie, without a nose and without a tail.

But the main thing is that people think it’s cute and funny 😢” or “Money doesn’t mean you have brains”.

The Geissens and the animals – Robert Geiss posted a disturbing photo

In the past, the Geissens have often been criticized online for their treatment of animals.

For example, when Robert Geiss posted an animal photo on Instagram that many found disturbing.

And when furnishing their properties, the TV family also likes to use real fur or exotic animal skins, which offends many viewers.

They even have their own four-legged friend Maddox Geiss!

He really belongs to the family, just like Robert's parents.

Carmen Geiss in particular is always happy to see her mother-in-law Margret Geiss... or is she?
