Tuesday morning around 11 a.m.,
Karine Le Marchand
's daughter was arrested by the police during a road check carried out on Chaussée de la Muette in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
According to information from Le
Figaro
, the 21-year-old young woman tested positive for cannabis and was placed in police custody until Wednesday.
According to the Actu17 site which revealed the information, she also gave police officers an airsoft pistol stored in the glove box of her vehicle.

Karine Le Marchand spoke this Thursday morning via a long message published on her Instagram account.
“My daughter was arrested during a routine check and, contrary to the fantasy of the usual haters, she has never been banned from driving
,” wrote the M6 host, recognizing that her protégé had
“already used cannabis during her life”
and that she had been following a cannabis cessation protocol for weeks.

Cannabis appears in tests even up to 70 days after absorption.
And even CBD can create positive tests.

“Unfortunately for the scavengers, she doesn't drink, doesn't do cocaine or heroin,”

The M6 host denounced the treatment to which her daughter was subjected as well as the leaks of information relating to her arrest.
“It was 10 a.m. and she was going shopping at my request
,” she said.
Her saliva test came back positive and she was taken into custody at the rue de la Faisanderie police station.

“The case is still ongoing and the three police officers are indicted
,” she assures.
“It is therefore very obvious that my daughter’s 26-hour custody in this police station did not go unnoticed
