After a traffic accident in Geretsried, the police expressly praised a young first aider in their report.

There was an accident at the junction with the B11 on Wednesday.
A young first aider looked after the injured woman until the emergency services arrived.
Geretsried - A 61-year-old suffered injuries to her cervical spine in a rear-end collision on Wednesday at the junction of Jahnstrasse and the B11.
The emergency services took the woman from Wolfratshausen to the district clinic.
According to the police report, the property damage totaled around 5,000 euros.

The 61-year-old waited in her Hyundai at the intersection at around 3:20 p.m. to pay attention to traffic that had the right of way.
An 18-year-old from Wolfratshausen, who was following the woman in a Mini, was already paying attention to the traffic on the B11 as she approached.
The novice driver overlooked the Hyundai and rear-ended it.
The young woman and her passenger remained uninjured, as did the daughter of the 61-year-old in the Hyundai.
A first aider looked after the injured woman from Wolfratshausen until the emergency services arrived.
The young man supported her head and neck with both hands to prevent her injuries from aggravating.
The police “hereby once again express their thanks to the first responder for his commendable efforts,” the report says.
The person who caused the accident is awaiting criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm in traffic.
