According to him, he does not finance Joe Biden or Donald Trump.
With regard to the first, his lack of support is beyond doubt.
With regard to the second, the supposition remains.

Because Elon Musk, the 2nd richest man in the world according to the Forbes magazine ranking, published his tweet shortly after the publication of an article in the New York Times (NYT), questioning the financial windfall that the boss of , from Tesla, and a few other companies, could bring to Donald Trump.
According to the daily, the Republican candidate, now alone in the running against Democrat Biden, met Musk on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida, during a meeting with some of the wealthy donors known to the Republican Party.
Three separate people told the NYT of a private discussion, as Trump and his campaign team seek sustainable funding to last until November.
In November 2022, shortly after buying Twitter, Musk reinstated Donald Trump's account, which the social network had closed two days after the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol, and given allegations of electoral fraud that the president beaten liked to denounce without ever providing the slightest proof.

Musk has long presented himself as politically independent and, like many business leaders, for around twenty years, he has made donations - moderate, in view of his fortune - to the two major American parties, just to protect the goat and cabbage.
Tesla and SpaceX in particular work with the American federal government, and have benefited from subsidies from Washington as part of the electric vehicle expansion plan.
But his recent publications on X show that he considers it essential that Joe Biden does not win a second term in November.
At issue: immigration, which Musk sees as an immense danger for the United States, regularly criticizing Joe Biden for the record number of migrants entering the United States during his presidency.

The pace of his messages on X, to which 175 million people are subscribed, is accelerating: on Tuesday, he predicted that "America will collapse if it tries to absorb the world."
Hours earlier, he called the Biden administration's immigration policy a "betrayal."
And on Wednesday, he once again suggested that Democrats “maximize illegal immigration” to build a future electorate, once regularizations have been made.
