An 8-year-old girl died in a primary school in Acolman, in the State of Mexico, last Tuesday morning, after she said she was feeling bad and asked her teacher for permission to go to the health services, according to complaints from their families.
The minor, identified as Itzel Leticia, was in class at the Ciencia, Patria, Trabajo y Libertad Elementary School, in the community of Santa María, when she asked the teacher to let her go to the bathroom because she felt bad.
The teacher, identified by the authorities as Isaías 'N', allegedly denied her permission to go to the bathroom several times, until a friend of the girl interceded and told her that she needed to vomit, so the teacher finally agreed to let her go. reported the newspaper Milenio.
“He asked once and they didn't give him [authorization], he asked again and they didn't give him [authorization].
The third time they told her 'well, go away', and my daughter went to vomit," the girl's mother, Leticia Escudero, told the news outlet Telediario.

Escudero claims that at that time the girl still had vital signs, but the school management did not immediately request the help of emergency medical services and, instead, contacted her to take her to a center. hospitable.

The principal allegedly blamed the parents for the girl's death, after claiming that they had "sent her to school" even though she was sick.
But Escudero said Itzel had shown no signs of being sick when she was sent to a normal day of school.
“We stopped as usual for school.
