Horrifying scenes in the “Comedy at the Bayerischer Hof”: Jochen Busse has a misfire in the middle of the stage.

What about the “7 Days, 7 Heads” icon?

Munich – Jochen Busse (83) is a real TV veteran.

Among other things, he hosted the RTL Friday evening show “7 Days, 7 Heads” from 1996 to 2005.

He is also active as a theater actor.

Last week, the native of North Rhine-Westphalia was on stage at the premiere of the play “White Sneakers” in the “Komödie am Bayerischen Hof”.

But there were worrying scenes.

Misfires on stage: Jochen Busse makes his illness public

During the performance, Busse had a break in the middle of the stage and just dragged himself from sentence to sentence.

His stage partner Simone Pfennig stood by him, recited the text to the actor and even gave him a glass of water.

The piece still had to be interrupted briefly.

Jochen Busse explained his break to bild.de and made his illness public.

“I suffer from painless migraines.

Sometimes she's gone for a long time, then she comes suddenly.

It appears with slight squiggles in front of my eyes, and it's like I'm paralyzed, I can't really feel myself anymore," he explains.

The blackout on stage was “a terrible catastrophe” for Busse.

“It lasts 18 minutes and then it’s gone again.

But at this time I can't think of the words.

I want to say tank, but I say ladder to heaven.

“It’s unparalleled self-torture,” says the 83-year-old.

After blackout: Jochen Busse is considering ending his career

Busse is aware that he won't be able to stay on stage forever.

“I love my job and I like to be successful,” he emphasizes.

However, he points out: “If it no longer works because the brain doesn't cooperate, it's torture.

Then you have to stop.

That’s what I’m thinking about right now.”
