Four children and two adults were found dead in a house in Barrhaven, a suburb of Ottawa (Canada), Ottawa police announced in a tweet published on the night of March 6 to 7.
Law enforcement responded to a call from 911, Canada's emergency service, shortly before 11 p.m. on March 6.
One person was subsequently arrested, but no details have been released as to their connection to the six victims.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed, but investigators believe all four children are from the same family.
At this stage of the investigations, investigators do not believe that a family dispute could be the origin of these murders, said Eric Stubbs, the Ottawa police chief on the show

A person with serious injuries was also transported to an Ottawa hospital, but his life is not in danger.
On the morning of March 7, several security cars were still parked in front of the house.
