“A controversy which has taken on such unprecedented proportions”
, Charline Vanhoenacker remembers this Thursday March 7 in “C à vous” the comparison of Guillaume Meurice of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a “
a kind of Nazi but without a foreskin
”.
A tirade taken from his column of October 29 in “Le Grand Dimanche evening” on France Inter.
Arcom was contacted and the director of France Inter Adèle Van Reeth dissociated herself from the comments of her columnist.

Sibyle Veil, general director of Radio France, also expressed her disapproval, notably by sending a long email addressed to the group's 4,500 employees.
As a bonus, a warning for Guillaume Meurice.
A sanction that the comedian described as
“an injustice”
.
Questioned by the judicial police
“We, as comedians, embrace controversies, we observe them. And there we found ourselves in the middle of something which took on totally disproportionate proportions
,” explains Charline Vanhoenacker this evening to Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine.
“We came out of it stronger because we have known each other for ten years, we are friends, we are united,”
she continues before asserting that she had
“a lot of debate within the team”
to
“ reassure listeners”
about their intentions.

“What I remember from all this is that Guillaume ended up at the PJ and me too. That's why he made a book about it that will be released soon. This is the thing that shocked me the most and yet I was under pressure from all sides between a management and a presidency that was very worried and rightly so about what was happening. A shaken team, the media, the insults and death threats
,” says Charline Vanhoenacker.
The comedian then invokes the spirit Charlie, just like Guillaume Meurice at the time of the controversy:
“When the attack occurred, we were all Charlie and in 2023, I am questioned for 2 and a quarter hours at the judicial police for a joke »
.
“The procedure is worrying.
Is the far right already in power?
, believes Charline Vanhoenacker while recognizing that there are
“more serious things, but let’s remain vigilant”
.
