After the mayor, the mayor's deputy has now been appointed in Kirchheim.
There were disagreements about the cast.
Kirchheim – Kirchheim has had a new mayor since the end of February.
Now Stephan Keck (SPD) also has a deputy: Beate Neubauer from the CSU.
Your group now has both the second and third mayors, Marianne Hausladen.
A decision that not everyone on the local council approved of.
They would have liked Christian Zenner (Greens) as the third town hall boss, who was defeated by Keck in the mayoral election.
Appeal for fairness
Before the secret election, in which Zenner also ran alongside Neubauer, Wolfgang Heinz-Fischer (VFW) first appealed to the fairness of his local council colleagues.
“I am a permanent optimist and trust the words of the new mayor that he wants to work equally well with all factions.” Heinz-Fischer therefore suggested that the CSU provide the second mayor.
“This is the largest faction in the local council and that’s okay.
But the third mayor should be from a smaller faction – that would be fair to me,” said the VFW councilor.
Berit Vogel (Greens) added that the second and third mayors “must speak to all other colleagues on the local council on an equal level and not in a condescending manner, and Christian Zenner is ideal for me.”
The appeals had no effect, Neubauer was elected second mayor with 16 votes, Zenner received seven votes.
Marianne Hausladen remains the third mayor.
