“Wedding at First Sight” star Melissa recently hinted that she was a victim of domestic violence.

Now she is speaking openly about her experiences for the first time.

Hamburg – In 2019, Melissa (30) fell in love at “Wedding at First Sight”.

But the love didn't last.

A few months ago she announced that she was in love again and introduced her new man to her fans.

But this love didn't last either.

At the end of February she released a video in which she spoke about experiences with domestic violence.

Now she's doing it again.

Her ex became violent again and scratched her thigh.

She locked herself in the bathroom and called the police.

“I cried bitterly and just wanted someone to come and help me,” said Melissa.

She had her ex evicted by the police, after which he was not allowed to enter the apartment for ten days.

“However, I was lulled again,” admits the “Wedding at First Sight” candidate.

After that everything was harmonious again.

But then the lies and the outbursts of violence started again.

Melissa finally drew the line after she received Instagram messages with “solid evidence” that her husband “wasn’t the most faithful soul.”

“For me it was a liberation.

[…] I could finally breathe again,” she describes.

It was particularly important to her to tell her stories in order to remove taboos from the topic.

She wants to “give the people who are affected by this the courage to step out of this unhealthy, toxic relationship.”
