, inflation (44%) and purchasing power (43%) are, by far, the issues that will count the most in voters' votes on June 9.
Next come questions of security (34%), social protection (31%) and immigration (29%).
With only 13% of French people believing that the war in Ukraine constitutes an issue for the future vote, the Ukrainian question only appears in ninth position among the French's concerns.
As far as Ukraine is concerned, a majority of French people disapprove of the recent positions taken by the President of the Republic: 60% of French people think
“
that he was wrong
”
to talk about sending troops to Ukraine and to call for
“
not to be cowardly
”
in the face of an
“
unstoppable
” Russia.
Unsurprisingly, it is the supporters of the National Rally (85%) who judge the head of state most harshly, followed by the Insoumis (61%).
On the other hand, environmentalist (67%), LR (59%) and socialist (57%) supporters approve the words of Emmanuel Macron, who is supported on the Ukrainian question by 80% of Renaissance voters.
In reality, no political camp is popular on its positions regarding the Ukrainian conflict: only 22% of respondents say they are close to the line of Renaissance and the RN, ahead of the Republicans (20%) and the PS (16%).
The Insoumis are dead last with only 10% support.
More generally, on international issues, 56% of the French consider that the president
“
represents France poorly abroad
”
.
In detail, we find the divide between voters of the government parties and the others: 99% of Renaissance supporters praise the image of the president, as do 64% of the LR, 57% of the Socialists and 54% of the Greens.
RN (80%) and LFI (70%) voters think the opposite.
