Not only do the model candidates give their all for the perfect photo, but so does Heidi Klum.
In the current episode, the GNTM juror should have shifted down a gear.
Tenerife – In the fourth episode of “Germany's Next Top Model” the casting show participants go to the Canary Island of Tenerife.
The majority of the models there are allowed to shoot in the ocean, which is not easy for everyone.
The photos were taken by none other than model mom Heidi Klum (50) herself - but that has consequences for the show host.

The 19th season of Heidi Klum's ProSieben casting show is not under a good star: It's not just fans who are complaining about the new show concept, ex-GNTM juror Peyman Amin (52) can no longer like "Germany's Next Top Model". .
Nevertheless, it doesn't stop Heidi Klum from pitching in with all hands so that her participants get the best modeling experience.
As the photographer for the ocean shoot, the 50-year-old really gets involved, jumps into the sea herself and risks getting her feet wet.

In the background, GNTM guest juror Elizabeth Hurley (58) is at her side and evaluates the models for their performance.
But she doesn't stay in the background the whole time: at the end of the episode, the actress surprisingly announces alone which models have to leave the ProSieben casting show.
“I'm really sorry to say: everyone worked hard today, but no one worked harder than Heidi.
You've been in the sea once, she's been in it five times.
I'm sorry to say that she's not feeling very well.
So you have to make do with me, okay?” explains the Hollywood star to the model newcomers.

After the first “Germany's Next Top Model” fashion show (third episode on February 29th), viewers on the X platform (formerly Twitter) complained that men and women did not compete in the casting format under the same conditions.
Many find it unfair that men were allowed to walk down the catwalk in sandals while women had to perform in high heels.

Heidi Klum herself also explains her absence from the final decision: “Even during the shoot I noticed that the long journey, the sun and the wet clothes had not left me completely unscathed.
So with a heavy heart I can't be part of the decision, but I consulted with Elizabeth and, as an exception, she's taking over my job today."

Before Elizabeth Hurley, the German supermodel Jean Paul Gaultier (71) consulted.
She sat at the front of the first GNTM fashion show with the star designer and evaluated the performance of her young models.
The first walk didn't go well for "Germany's Next Top Model" candidate Jana (24) because she fell on stage and a production employee had to help her back to the backstage area.
