Klein-Rohrheim/Gernsheim – A helicopter crashed in a field between federal highway 44 and highway 67 near Gernsheim (Gross-Gerau district) on Wednesday afternoon (March 6th).

In the afternoon, numerous police, fire and rescue teams were at the scene of the accident.

According to investigators' initial findings, the machine was occupied by two people.
