A helicopter crashed in Hesse on Wednesday.
The police confirmed this in the afternoon.

Klein-Rohrheim/Gernsheim – A helicopter crashed in a field between federal highway 44 and highway 67 near Gernsheim (Gross-Gerau district) on Wednesday afternoon (March 6th).
In the afternoon, numerous police, fire and rescue teams were at the scene of the accident.
According to investigators' initial findings, the machine was occupied by two people.
According to current knowledge, these two men were not injured.

The cause of the accident after a helicopter crash in Hesse is still unclear
The Federal Aircraft Accident Investigation Board was immediately informed and began investigating the cause of the crash.
Police spokesman Hochstädter: “The experts now have to determine what was behind the cause of the accident.” When asked by IPPEN.MEDIA, a police spokeswoman explained that there would probably be no traffic disruptions during the upcoming work.
The crash site is therefore very remote.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the helicopter crash near Gernsheim.
