The Café Coffeeholic on Neuer Platz has a new tenant.

With Atila Hangodi, coffee lovers get more than just good coffee.

Geretsried

– Atila Hangodi has been running the contact point for coffee lovers in the south of Geretsried since the beginning of the year.

The Café Coffeeholic on Neuer Platz has a new tenant.

He hasn't just given new highlights to the menu.

He also wants to implement many other activities in the café.

The menu has a lot of new things to offer

The interior of Coffeeholic has hardly changed since Hangodi's arrival.

That's what the menu is for.

The Hungarian native has brought dishes from his home country with him.

For example, there are now Langos with different toppings.

Greek dishes can still be found on the menu.

As reported, the café was previously run by a Greek restaurant.

“I also wanted to offer something for my Greek guests,” explains Hangodi.

That's why you can also order gyros from him, for example.

The menu also includes various burgers with fries, paninis and wraps with different toppings, as well as pizza.

And if you need something nutritious with your coffee in the morning, you will also find it at Coffeeholic: Hangodi has various breakfasts on its menu, from avocado bread to omelettes to the typical Bavarian breakfast with white sausage.

Homemade cakes and other sweets are available for afternoon coffee.

“We mainly bake ourselves,” says the new tenant.

But he gets the rolls and pastries for breakfast from the Königsdorf bakery.

Hangodi didn't hesitate for long and took over the café

Before he took over Coffeeholic in Geretsried, the 40-year-old worked in the catering sector and, among other things, provided food for the Bavaria film studios as well as private events, he reports.

“After Corona, the structure of the film studios changed,” says Hangodi.

“I then worked for the previous owner and fell in love with the café,” says the 40-year-old, who has lived in Geretsried for seven years.

When the previous owner gave up the café, he didn't hesitate for long and took it over.

If you are planning a larger celebration and don't have space at home, you can also rent the Coffeeholic.

“I have space for around 30 to 35 people,” says the Geretsrieder.

He could also imagine the Coffeholic as a good contact point for readings or meetings.

An event recently took place in the café.

A band performed and there were burgers and snack plates.

“I would like to offer something like this more often,” says Hangodi, giving an insight into his plans.

The 40-year-old can also imagine tapas and karaoke evenings or special theme parties.

He's looking forward to the warmer days because then he can finally open up his large outdoor area.
