The so-called Enzis have been standing in the trade fair town of Riem for almost a decade.
Now children can paint some of the colorful seating furniture
In Vienna, the colorful street furniture called Enzi is the trademark of the Vienna Museum Quarter and has become a real cult object.
The Enzi have also been in the trade fair town of Riem since 2015.
Now young people should paint some of these sitting, lying and climbing objects.
It is a project of the “All-Party Conflict Management” (AKIM), which is used as part of the “Strategy for Non-Violence at the Trade Fair City of Riem” of the social department in the trade fair city.
20 copies provide more color in a dreary space
During a visit to Vienna, the city councilors discovered the colorful Enzi and were thrilled.
In 2015, a total of 20 copies were purchased to bring more color to the rather dreary Willy Brandt Square.
Three smaller examples that were last on the neighboring Elisabeth-Castonier-Platz and had to be removed due to construction work are now being given a color change by children and young people from two Messestadt facilities.
They should then be set up again somewhere in the district.
According to AKIM, exactly where should their “designers” decide for themselves.
This does not affect the cult Enzis on Willy-Brandt-Platz.
They will remain unchanged for the people of the trade fair town.
