On Saturday evening, celebrities competed against children in Kai Pflaume's ARD show “Small vs. Big”.

On RTL, however, Elton moderated the second edition of “Schlag den Besten”.

Who will win in the odds duel?

Berlin / Cologne – There was once again a lot of entertainment for TV fans on Saturday evening (March 2nd).

This time, in “Small vs. Big – The Incredible Duel”, prominent candidates such as Yvonne Catterfeld (44), Torsten Sträter (57) and Fabian Hambüchen (36) came together to compete against children in Kai Pflaume’s (56) ARD format.

On RTL, Elton (52) invited people to “Schlag den Besten” for the second time and had Thorsten Legat (55) and Tobias Wegener (30), among others, play against each other.

But which station got the better ratings?

“Small versus big” vs. “Beat the best”: Will Kai Plaume beat Elton in the ratings duel?

Not only the challenges in “Small vs. Large” caused a stir, but also the exchange of blows between the moderator and the candidates.

For example, Torsten Sträter gossiped about Kai Pflaume's role as a voice actor - and in front of a wide audience, as the ratings show.

Can “Beat the Best” compete with this?

, “small versus large” is the clear winner in the ratings duel.

Kai Pflaume's show attracted 4.95 million viewers from the total audience (rating: 21.5 percent).

However, “Schlag den Besten” is clearly lagging behind with 1.75 million viewers (rating: 7.5 percent).

Even among younger audiences, ARD is ahead.

Among 14 to 49 year olds, “Klein gegen Groß” reached 0.88 million people (rate: 19.1 percent), while RTL with “Schlag den Besten” reached 0.60 million viewers (rate: 12.8 percent ) must be placed behind it.

Kai Pflaume has no chance: ZDF crime thriller beats “small against big”

But even for “small versus large” it wasn’t enough for a primetime victory with the overall audience.

ZDF reached even more viewers with “Helen Dorn – Todesmut”.

The crime thriller with Anna Loos (53) was seen by 5.89 million people (rate: 23.7 percent).

However, this performed significantly worse among 14 to 49 year olds.

Here ZDF only has


0.43 million viewers (rate: 9.1 percent).
