At the Lion March, participants benefit from experiencing nature and being together.
But organizations can also be happy - such as the Landsberg women's shelter initiative group: the Löwenmarsch team from Unterdießen raised 1,000 euros for it.
Landsberg - The fellow members of the Landsberg Women's Shelter initiative group Margit Däubler and Heidi Reiser are very happy about the generous donation of 1,000 euros from Otto Fischer, who presented the symbolic check from the Unterdießen Löwenmarsch team.
The donation is “an important building block on the way to implementing a women’s shelter in the Landsberg district,” said Däubler.
There is currently no such women's shelter in the Landsberg district.
The district does finance places in the Augsburg women's shelter, where women from the district can find accommodation in an emergency.
But there is also an absolute shortage of space there.
