At its meeting on Tuesday, the local council unanimously approved Steffi Wörnzhofer's resignation from her position as a market town council member.
David Kammerer will be his successor.

Mayor Peter Ostenrieder recalled that, in addition to her work on the local council, the 37-year-old from Wörnzhofen was also involved in the local farmers' association as a deputy local farmer.
When it came to kindergarten or school, her maternal expertise was needed.
She also dedicated herself to a number of other tasks, for example as a member of the building committee.
The town hall boss attested that Wörnzhofer was not artificial, but rather had a “warm intelligence” and thanked him “for the good cooperation”.
