Magdeburg - A threat against a Magdeburg comprehensive school has triggered a police operation.
“There are currently no verified indications that there is a concrete danger situation,” the police said.
In addition, according to the police, false reports are circulating about people with weapon-like objects on the IGS Regine Hildebrandt premises.
“The police expressly point out that these reports are false,” said a police report.
No shots were fired either.
The police initially did not want to comment on whether the threat was a shooting threat.
However, as a precautionary measure, police officers are still on site to ensure protection.
The police are also in close contact with the school management in order to keep disruption to students and teaching staff as low as possible.
