An acquaintance of the resident noticed the fire in the Weiler-Simmerberg district of Ellhofen on Monday afternoon, March 5th, and informed him.
With the support of a passerby who happened to be passing by, the 42-year-old resident was able to get his 85-year-old mother, who was suffering from dementia, out of the burning building.

Residential house in Swabia in flames: Fire brigade prevents the fire from spreading to the stable
When the fire brigade arrived at the building, the flames were already coming from the roof.
Thanks to the quick action of the fire brigade and a fire protection wall, the fire was prevented from spreading to the adjacent stable.
According to police, the house was a total loss.
The exact cause of the fire was initially unclear, but the Lindau criminal police have started an investigation.
