with a past in Spanish basketball, fainted this Wednesday on the
Oklahoma City
bench , a scare from which he was fortunately able to recover and leave the court on his own two feet.
During a timeout, Biyombo was standing on the bench waiting for his returning teammates to sit down and receive instructions from the coaching staff when
he fainted and fell to the ground
.
The center was immediately treated by
medical services
and, fortunately, was able to recover and walk off the court.
Biyombo, who played in the Endesa League with Fuenlabrada at the beginning of his career, will undergo further tests to confirm that it is nothing serious.

In purely sporting terms, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (37 points), Jalen Williams (31 points) and Chet Holmgren (21 points and 14 rebounds) were once again a lethal trio in the Thunder that beat the
Portland Trail Blazers
120-128 and that they equaled the Wolves as leaders of the West (both with a balance of 43-19).

Defeat and concern for LeBron's Lakers
LeBron James
retired this Wednesday due to discomfort in the fourth quarter and
the Los Angeles Lakers
suffered a worrying setback in their postseason aspirations, falling to the
Sacramento Kings
120-130.
LeBron limped out of the game with almost four minutes remaining and went directly to the locker room.
"It's going into an evaluation process. I'm sure there will be an update later," Lakers coach Darvin Ham said in a press conference about LeBron's situation.
Later, LeBron clarified that it was just the discomfort in his left ankle that he has been experiencing for a long time and hoped that it was nothing serious.
"King James" had 31 points and 13 assists tonight before having to leave the court.
Rui Hachimura supported him with 29 points but Anthony Davis did not have his day and finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lakers started very well (37-28 in the first period), but fell apart in the second (20-44) and were unable to recover.

De'Aaron Fox (44 points, which ties his best record in the league), Domantas Sabonis (his 22nd triple-double of the season with 16 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists) and Malik Monk (26 points and 8 assists since the bench) were magnificent for the Kings who hit the table in the West.
Now they are seventh in the play-in (35-26) but they are very close to the Phoenix Suns (36-26) who occupy the last place that gives direct access to the playoff.
Instead, the Lakers fell to tenth place (34-30) due to the
Warriors
' victory against the
Milwaukee Bucks
.
Faced with the extreme irregularity of the Angelenos,
Golden State
has won 12 of its last 15 games and has a record of 33-28.
The other team in contention in this explosive Western play-in is Luka Doncic's
Dallas Mavericks
, eighth at 34-28 after three straight losses.
