The Patagonians avoided establishing a position regarding whether or not they will accompany the DNU and the Omnibus Law, either as proposed by the Government or with modifications.
Instead, they said that
they will go to Casa Rosada to listen to the official proposal.
At a press conference held after the meeting, Melella from Fuegian read the Declaration of Puerto Madryn, the text agreed upon this Thursday, and then the provincial leaders answered questions from the press.
The Patagonian governors confirmed that they will instruct the 30 deputies and 18 senators who represent their provinces to
vote in a unified manner
every time the Executive Branch sends a bill to Congress that impacts the interests of the region.
