When it comes to road construction, it is primarily the people of Deiningen who need a lot of patience this year.

There will also be construction work in 2024 that road users will notice.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – When it comes to road construction, it is primarily the people of Deiningen who need a lot of patience this year.

But there will also be construction work beyond that in 2024 that road users will notice.

The Weilheim State Building Authority provided an overview when asked by our newspaper.

Crossing aid in Wolfratshausen

The authority wants to invest 150,000 euros in the construction of a new crossing aid in Wolfratshausen.

The structure is to be built in consultation with the Loisachstadt at the entrance to the town on Outer Sauerlacher Straße at the level of the road maintenance department.

The footpath and cycle path towards Pupplinger Au begins there.

If the budget funds are released for this, the crossing aid should be built in the second half of the year.

Press spokesman Michael Meister: “A partial closure of the road with traffic lights will be necessary to direct traffic around the construction site.” Individual night-time closures cannot be ruled out.

Traffic lights near Ergertshausen

The State Building Authority wants to defuse a risky area in the Eglingen municipal area this year.

Specifically, it is about the intersection of the Töl 21 district road and the state road 2070. There have been repeated accidents there in the past - some with serious injuries, some with fatal outcomes.

A traffic light is now to be installed there for around 200,000 euros.

As far as possible, explains press spokesman Meister, civil engineering work for the foundations had already been completed last year when the pedestrian and cycle path was built.

The tender for the remaining civil engineering work and the traffic lights should now take place in the first half of the year.

The start of construction depends on the delivery times of the traffic lights.

The estimated construction time is around a month.

The press spokesman estimates the impact on traffic to be minimal.

Renovation of the Deining town thoroughfare

The renovation of the through-road in Deining is expected to continue from March 25th.

This will be accompanied by a complete closure of State Road 2072 for several months. This construction phase is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of June, announces press spokesman Michael Meister.

The north area will then begin (also under a full closure).

“This extends from the junction with Hornsteiner Straße to the northern end of Deining.” All work on the project, which costs around five million euros, is scheduled to be completed in the autumn.

The large-scale bypass of the construction site will again take place via Wolfratshausen and Sauerlach.

Walking and cycling path in Ebenhausen

The State Building Authority finally wants to tackle the long-planned construction of a pedestrian and cycle path on the B11 south of Ebenhausen.

Several factors had caused delays in the past.

“This year the first section between Ebenhausen and the confluence with Gut Holzen is to be built,” announces Meister.

“The only thing that is currently missing here is the consent of a property owner.” Shrubs and bushes will be cut back by the end of February.

The state building authority estimates construction time to be two to three months.

During the construction work, the speed will be reduced and there will be partial closures in sections.

During this time, traffic is controlled via traffic lights.

The construction project is expected to cost 400,000 euros.

New bridge in Münsing

There is also construction work planned in the municipality of Münsing this year.

The state road 2065 connects the districts of Holzhausen and St. Heinrich with each other.

A new bridge has to be built over the Karniffelbach approximately at the level of the town of Weidenkam.

“The substructures of the bridge date from 1925,” reports Meister.

The condition of the building was rated 2.9.

“That translates to: sufficient condition,” said the press spokesman.

Repairs are therefore necessary in the short to medium term.

But due to the old substructures, this is not effective.

In addition, the load that the old bridge can carry is limited to 16 tons.

The state building authority therefore decided to demolish the old bridge and build a new one.

The measure, including full closure, is planned for the second half of the year.

The authorities estimate the costs at 700,000 euros.

Renovation of State Road 2068

If everything goes well, the “worst bumpy road in the district in autumn will be a thing of the past”: With these words, Martin Herda, head of the southern road construction department at the Weilheim State Building Authority, announces the continuation of the renovation of state road 2068 between Dietramszell and Kirchbichl.

It started this Monday.

As reported, the renewal of the road, which is notorious for its potholes, began last year.

“A third of it has already been implemented, the remaining two thirds will be completed this year,” the department head from the State Building Authority told our newspaper.

Since the measure costs a total of 5.8 million euros, no further construction work on state roads in the district is possible this year.

“There is no money left.”

Postponed construction project

According to Michael Meister, the renovation of the Töl19 district road in the hamlet of Wadlhausen near Icking will be postponed until next year, “since a joint repair tender will then be held with the Starnberg district,” said the press spokesman for the road construction authority.

Both sides expect synergy effects from this.

A renewal of the drainage including road renovation is planned.
