This is a new episode in the redevelopment of the center of Ville-d'Avray (Hauts-de-Seine).

This project, which crystallizes opposition in the town of 11,000 inhabitants, continues to divide.

After having had to endure criticism from opponents in the municipal council, then from numerous residents during a public meeting to present the development guidelines for the heart of the city, the project of Mayor Aline de Marcillac (DVD) and her majority is now in the crosshairs of eleven architects living or having lived in the town.

In an open letter addressed to the municipality but also to Grand Paris Seine Ouest (GPSO), these professionals, who assure that they are not linked to the municipal opposition, point out “deleterious and polluting projects”.

At the center of their criticism: the planned demolition of the Pradier nursery, considered dilapidated, and the Chantecler nursery school, unused for fourteen years, to make way for a complex of nearly a hundred housing units.
