First-class first aid was probably provided by a man who supported the neck of a Wolfratshausen woman after a car accident until the emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident.

A 61-year-old woman was injured in the neck in a car accident on the B11 in Geretsried.
A first aider took “commendable” care of the woman.
Geretsried - A 61-year-old woman suffered injuries to her cervical spine in a rear-end collision on Wednesday (March 6th) at the junction of Jahnstrasse and the B11.
The emergency services took the woman to the district clinic.
According to the police, the property damage totaled around 5,000 euros.

“A 61-year-old woman from Wolfratshausen was waiting with her Hyundai at the junction with the federal highway,” a police officer from Geretsried explained in his report, in order to pay attention to traffic that had the right of way.
An 18-year-old woman from Wolfratshausen, who was driving her Mini Cooper car in the following traffic, “was already looking around for the priority traffic on the federal highway as she approached the junction,” the officer continued.
The novice driver overlooked the Hyundai and rear-ended it.
The two occupants of the Mini remained uninjured.
Her daughter, who was in the passenger seat at the time of the accident, was uninjured.
Accident on B11: First responder takes care of injured woman from Wolfratshausen in Geretsried
Until the ambulance arrived, a young man took care of the injured woman as a first aider and supported her neck with both hands to prevent her injuries from spreading.
The driver of the Mini who caused the accident is now facing criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm in traffic.
The Geretsried police station would like to once again “express its thanks to the first aider for his commendable efforts”.
