Five men, suspected of having attempted to burglarize the house of TF1 presenter Jean-Luc Reichmann, were indicted for organized gang theft, criminal conspiracy and aggravated refusal to comply, Saturday March 2,

from the Nanterre public prosecutor's office.

They were placed in pre-trial detention.

These individuals were arrested in Épinay-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis), during the night from Wednesday to Thursday last, at the end of a long night chase in Hauts-de-Seine.

Car chase

A few minutes earlier that day, around two o'clock in the morning, several hooded burglars had scaled the gate of the presenter's house, located in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

But, as they were preparing to enter the home, the individuals were then put to flight by the son of Jean-Luc Reichmann.

Taken by surprise, they then rushed into an Audi A3 parked near the house and, as they sped off, almost collided with a BAC crew dispatched to the scene.

They were then found by the police in Épinay-sur-Seine.
