Howard Carpendale is one of Germany's biggest pop stars.
It's all the more surprising that the musician doesn't want to be seen as such.
Leipzig – In May 2024, singer Howard Carpendale (78) will start his “Let’s do it again” tour.
16 appearances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are scheduled for the artist, the tour premiere will take place on May 14, 2024 in Zwickau.
The 78-year-old is best known as a pop star - but now the music icon reveals why he doesn't like being called that.

Hardly any music event hosted by Florian Silbereisen (42) takes place without Howard Carpendale as a guest - he is also said to be there at the “Schlagerjubilee” on March 16th.

“Concert is very important to me”: Howard Carpendale wants to deliver on his tour

“I don't want people to get the impression at my concerts - and this word 'concert' is very important to me - that we're just playing down a list of 25 songs.
My goal was always to do a show with a lot of announcements, a lot of speeches about the world we live in, and I realized after 23 tours that that's exactly what people expect," says Howard Carpendale, making it clear how The upcoming appointments are important to him.
