They were tried this Thursday in immediate appearance, on the basis of the denunciation of a witness who allegedly saw them mask themselves, on February 28, before attacking a video surveillance mast in the Plaine-du district. -Lys, in Dammarie-les-Lys.
He even took a photo of them, but once they were masked.
What's more is a blurry photo, in which the police apparently recognized one of these two men, due to his build.
But not the second…
Nothing formal, therefore, for the Melun criminal court, which acquitted for these acts of degradation in a meeting these two men aged 22 and 28, one living in the neighborhood, the other saying that there has not lived for several years.
The latter, who has also been banned from appearing in Dammarie since another case, was still convicted, but once again not for what he was accused of elsewhere.
Damage of around 3,600 euros
He was also appearing for violence against a police officer and for using cannabis.
During his arrest on March 5, he allegedly injured a police officer by hitting him in the mouth with his cell phone, causing him three days of total work interruption (ITT).
He, faced with a dozen officials and an arm lock that was hurting him, would have only tried to free himself with force to relieve his pain.
As for cannabis, it was discovered on him during his search.
It was 1.39g.
“I did not commit any violence against this police officer,” he said at the hearing.
“Did you struggle?”
», asks the president of the court.
“I just stuck my arm out.
» The acts of violence were therefore reclassified as rebellion by the court.
For this, as well as cannabis, he was therefore sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment under an electronic bracelet, accompanied by a ban on appearing in Dammarie, an obligation to work or follow training, and to compensate the victim, up to 800 euros for damages, and 500 euros for his lawyer's fees.
The town hall of Dammarie did not file a civil suit in the case of the damage to its camera, despite suffering damage of around 3,600 euros.
Maybe she felt it was all too… vague.
