A Rottacher (21) now had to answer before the Miesbach lay judges' court for drug trafficking.

The indictment contained a total of three points.

Rottach-Egern

- In the first case, a Kreuther discovered a plastic bag with 385 grams of marijuana hidden on his property and called the police.

DNA traces of the defendant and two other people were found on the bag, which contained a total of 80 drug bags.

The defendant said that at the time, shortly before starting therapy, he wanted to break free of his drug past and therefore gave the ziplock bags to friends.

That's why his traces were found on it.

But he couldn't remember any details.

His claim that he had merely handed the empty bags over to a friend, who probably gave him the drugs he found, was met with some skepticism by prosecutors and judges.

Started using drugs at the age of ten

Rottacher's lawyer explained that her client began using drugs at the age of ten to numb the grief over the death of a family member.

Then he got into the wrong circles.

But now he wants to change his life and has gone into rehab with a self-help group.

To “chill” at the hotel: Police find drugs on the defendant

The second case took place in a hotel in Munich.

The 21-year-old said he took a room there with a friend and his girlfriend to “chill out for a few days.”

But during a check, the police found drugs on them.

According to the indictment, there were two slabs of hashish, each weighing around 100 grams, and around 25 grams of marijuana.

One of the two plates was able to be assigned to the defendant himself, said a chief detective involved in the investigation.

The defendant's friend called the police on the scene when he offered both hashish plates for sale on the Internet under his name.

The 21-year-old said he received the drug plate from a colleague whose name he did not want to name.

The drug was intended exclusively for personal consumption.

He didn't pay anything for it because he often recruited customers for the colleague in question.

He claimed to have known nothing about the planned sale on the Internet - which in turn did not seem credible to the public prosecutor.

Rottacher comes from difficult family backgrounds

In the third case, the defendant himself sought the help of the police.

Here he is said to have bought 50 grams of marijuana in Irschenberg.

But then he was attacked by the dealer near Bad Tölz because he owed money in this matter, the police officer reported.

The representative of the youth court service then reported on a difficult family history and several failed attempts to beat the addiction.

He recommended using juvenile criminal law.

Defendant receives suspended sentence and must continue therapy

The court ultimately decided to uphold only the second count, the hotel incident.

The five-time convicted person received a standard juvenile sentence of one year and eight months on probation, including an open criminal record, as well as the requirement to continue his therapy and begin vocational training as soon as possible.

The stay in the facility suggests a better path and just saved from a prison sentence, said judge Klaus-Jürgen Schmid.
