This Friday, on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, the departmental council decided to reward twenty women with the first edition of the Elles en Seine trophies.
To do this, the department contacted the 36 towns in the region which had to offer an exemplary route.
Twenty of them responded.
“Our department is fortunate to have remarkable women.
In its history, of course, but also in its present.
The names of Isabelle Huppert, Clarisse Agbégnénou, Nina Métayer and Laurence Equilbey make our department shine throughout the world", underlined in the preamble the president (LR) Georges Siffredi, convinced that the first twenty winners will also be sources of inspiration for the young girls of the region.
