In episode 3 of “Germany's Next Top Model” Jana and Armin are having a blast.
But the somewhat clumsy flirting offensive is less well received by GNTM fans.
Berlin – Because male models are also allowed to compete with Heidi Klum (50) this year, the new season of “Germany's Next Top Model” (GNTM) brings with it some unexpected pitfalls.
Because some candidates in the ProSieben show are apparently not just about a potential catwalk career, but also about big feelings.
Like Jana and Armin, for example, between whom something is apparently brewing in episode 3.
Armin flirts heavily with fellow GNTM candidate Jana - viewers find the behavior inappropriate
Because the two young models get along brilliantly.
Accordingly, the flirting is aggressive before the walk: “All expectations were exceeded – definitely!” enthuses Armin when he sees Jana in her perfectly fitting designer dress.
“If anyone can carry it, it’s you,” he adds.
His counterpart returns the flattery: “It looks good on you,” she returns the compliment.
The two exchange secret glances and giggle awkwardly - will there be a romance on the GNTM set?
In any case, the ProSieben viewers don't like the flirtation at all: "GNTM is not a dating show," complains a fan on "In general, some viewers seem to be bothered by Armin's teasing: "Really every comment from Armin is so unpleasant", "Nobody is interested in the Jana-Armin love story" or "Armin's Next Girlfriend or 'Germany's Next Top Model'?"

For the current “Germany's Next Top Model” season, they have dug deep into their bag of tricks: This time it's not just male models who are taking part, the finale will also be significantly different.
Because in 2024 Heidi Klum will choose two winners on GNTM.
GNTM flirting can continue – Jana and Armin are both further
Armin himself still seems undecided as to which direction the banter should take.
The 27-year-old said in an individual interview a little later that he wasn't actually looking for a partner at the moment.
Nevertheless, he thinks: “I would give Jana and I’s connection an eight out of ten.” Because there is “still room for improvement.”
He leaves it open whether that also means that he will intensify his advances in the coming episodes of “Germany’s Next Top Model”.

Since both of them have progressed in episode 3, nothing stands in the way of further flirting.
However, things almost turned out differently: GNTM-Jana fell on stage during the big walk.
