Fritz Wepper is apparently struggling with death: the actor, who is in serious health condition, has been said to have been in a hospice in Upper Bavaria for several days.
Fritz Wepper (82) has suffered repeated health setbacks in the past few months.
The cult actor (including “For Heaven's Sake” and “Derrick”) suffered blood poisoning in 2011 from which he was never able to fully recover.
At the end of 2023, he had to seek medical care and was unable to spend the Christmas holidays at home.

Now Fritz Wepper has been in a hospice in Upper Bavaria for a few days, as

reported on Friday evening (March 8th).
He is visited there every day by his wife Susanne Kellermann (49) and their daughter Filippa (12).
The actor is mentally fit, but physically weakened and impaired.
The 82-year-old could no longer stand up without help.
In addition, he is apparently no longer receiving any medication.

The Munich native was particularly hard hit by the death of his brother Elmar Wepper, who died on October 31, 2023.
He had previously recovered from cancer, which became public in 2021, and a severe COVID-19 infection.
