“It had to be in La Roche-Guyon…” Christian Broutin, 91, has produced a colossal and protean work.

Film posters, magazine covers, children's album illustrations, advertisements or simply paintings.

But if there is one constant in the life of this astonishing artist, it is La Roche-Guyon.

The village of Val-d'Oise now has a small space entirely dedicated to the work of the illustrator.

Le Grain de sel, in the heart of the town, has been welcoming visitors since last weekend.
