The Starnberger Kliniken vocational school for nursing will be presenting its new “Skills Lab” next week - and itself at an open day.

- The vocational school for nursing at the Starnberg clinics invites everyone interested to an open day next Thursday, March 14th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

She also presents her “Skills Lab” – a fully equipped patient room with all the necessary supply units, a monitoring system and a digital simulation mannequin that can simulate various health conditions.

“This is a big step in future nursing education and I am very proud of it.

This allows us to significantly increase the practical relevance of the students and the quality of future training.

The 'Skills Lab' is also an absolute benefit for our teachers and enables educationally valuable lessons in a modern workplace,” explains headmaster Daniela Matzke.

The school is based at the clinic (Oßwaldstrasse 3).

During the open day, the “Skills Lab” will be hosted by clinic managing director Dr.

Thomas Weiler, district administrator Stefan Frey, Daniela Matzke and the chairmen of the Seefeld circle of friends and support association, Karl Roth and Klaus Kögel.

The clubs supported the “Skills Lab” through donations.

Those interested can find out about topics such as the structure and structure of training to become a nursing specialist, perspectives, further education and training, digital patient files, first aid with resuscitation and much more.
