Gröbenzell/Puchheim – Gröbenzell and Puchheim are being cleaned up at the weekend because it's time again for the towns and communities' Ramadama campaigns.

Major plastering in Gröbenzell

The whole of Gröbenzell will be cleaned up together on March 9th.

With all volunteer citizens, the community wants to remove dirt and rubbish from streets and green spaces and make a contribution to environmental protection.

Garbage bags, collection tongs and gloves will be handed out at seven locations throughout the municipality from 9:30 a.m. The garbage collection locations at a glance: Böhmerweiher, small recycling center at the Bernhard Rössner School, Am Gröbenbach (small recycling center on the railway path near the waterfall ), Kneipp facility at the Gröbenbachschule, fire station, Wildmoosstrasse, Ascherbach playground, small recycling center on Sonnenweg (corner of Birkenstrasse) The employees of the community depot will later pick up the garbage and dispose of it professionally.

Afterwards there will be a small snack for all helpers as a thank you.

Alternative date is March 16th.

Special focus on tipping in Puchheim

Cleaning will also take place in Puchheim on March 9th.

In addition to waste such as bottles, cans, plastic films, newspapers and car tires, wildly discarded small, environmentally harmful cigarette butts will be picked up again this year.

The Puchheim local group of the Federation for Nature Conservation and the Puchheim Environmental Advisory Board would like to place a special focus on this environmental sin at this year's Ramadama.

All Ramadama participants are asked to collect cigarette butts separately.

From 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., all participants will be divided into collection areas at the following meeting points.

Puchheim-Bahnhof Nord: Volksfestplatz, Mayor-Ertl-Straße.

Puchheim train station south: back of the town hall, ring promenade, Puchheim location: Kneipp facility on Gröbenbach.

Grabbers, garbage bags and gloves will also be distributed.

Collecting will take place until 12 p.m.
