The question may seem ridiculous, but it is nevertheless very real.
The average price per square meter of Parisian apartments reached 9,403 euros as of March 1, according to the online estimation site Meilleurs Agents.
It fell by 0.7% in one month and by 1.4% between January 1 and February 29.
“This rate of monthly decline is higher than last year when Paris lost 0.5% on average per month,” says Thomas Lefebvre, scientific director of the site.
It may seem like a small difference, but it's big.
» In one year, the fall in prices reached 6.6% and 10% since January 2022, the date of the start of the market turnaround, according to the site.
We have to go back to the summer of 2018 to find this price level below 9,500 euros/m2.
