When the driver calls the police, the BMW drives away
Apparently the driver of a brown BMW behind him overlooked this and drove into the truck.
There was no damage to the truck, but the BMW's hood was severely deformed.
The police estimate the damage at around 2,500 euros.
The Olchinger took pictures of the hood to document everything.
But when he called the police, the BMW driver suddenly disappeared.
There were no license plates on the car.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward
The police are now asking for relevant information about the driver.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Tölz police station on 0 80 41/76 10 60.
Collision while reversing
The police are also asking for information about exactly what happened after a second accident that occurred in Tölz on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, a 47-year-old from Lenggries wanted to cross Osterleite in his VW Golf coming from Gaißacher Straße around 3 p.m.
When he was standing at the intersection and noticed that a vehicle with right of way was approaching from the left, he put the car in reverse and drove back onto Gaißacher Straße.
He overlooked a 73-year-old Tölzer woman in her VW Tiguan who was standing behind him.
Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the police on 0 80 41/76 10 60.
