In addition to their existing PV system at the substation in Esting, the Olching municipal utility company also wants to use the adjacent field to produce green electricity.
Olching - It is an area of around 10,000 square meters on Hugo-Brunninger-Straße.
And it looks like nothing stands in the way of the project.
The urban development committee unanimously gave the green light at its most recent meeting.
It was about changing the land use plan and the statutory resolution of the development plan.
Accordingly, the area meets the requirements for the comprehensive implementation of ecologically high-quality design and maintenance measures, which in turn is good for nature.
Shading
Ingrid Jaschke (Greens) asked why the western orientation of the modules reduces the need for land compensation.
Building authority manager Markus Brunnhuber suspected that it had to do with the fact that the shading was less than with the north/south orientation.
But he wanted to submit the answer later.
The city council will make the final decision in two weeks.
Ulrike Girtner (ÖDP) spoke about the importance of citizen participation in such projects.
This also promotes acceptance.
Mayor Andreas Magg (SPD) explained that it is usually the owners of areas who turn to the city and who then operate the systems themselves.
And in this case it is the municipal utilities, in which the city has a 51 percent stake anyway.
